Usage of disposable venous collection needles

(1) Unscrew the protective sleeve from the puncture needle end of the tube plug

(2) Screw the plug puncture needle into the needle holder/sleeve and tighten it

(3) Select the appropriate vein, tie the compression band for the patient, and disinfect the area to be treated (do not touch the area with your hands after disinfection)

(4) Let the patient's arm hang down (with the upper arm and forearm in a straight line), remove the protective cover of the blood collection needle and venipuncture needle, and let the disinfectant air dry naturally before performing the puncture.

(5) Use your thumb to press against the tail of the blood collection tube and push it into the needle holder/sleeve, allowing the blood collection needle to pierce through the stopper (be careful to keep the needle tube evenly inserted from the center of the stopper to prevent it from tilting). Release the pressure band when blood flows into the tube

(6) When the first tube collection is completed and blood flow stops, remove the tube from the needle holder. When multiple tube collection is required, continue to collect blood according to the recommended blood collection sequence in the photo

(7) Immediately after blood collection, invert 180 degrees according to the recommended frequency and gently shake well to fully mix the additive and blood sample

(8) When the last tube of blood stops flowing into the tube, immediately remove the tube and then remove the blood collection needle from the vein. Press the puncture site well with a sterilized cotton swab and hold for 10 minutes until blood stops flowing out

(9) Discard the used blood collection needles in the medical waste collector and prohibit reuse

(10) Timely submission for inspection or subsequent processing
